Thank you to all my supporters and volunteers. I share this victory tonight in the Democratic primary with all of you. I also know that the confidence you have placed in me is due in large part to serving alongside Mayor Scott, my colleagues on borough council, and a borough staff who all put our residents first.
To all who voted for me, I will not take your votes and trust for granted. For those who chose another candidate, I will continue to work to earn your trust and respect.
We have a great deal of work ahead of us. While we are on a clear path to victory in November, the residents and businesses of Carlisle need our focus now. We are resilient, and we will restore our community and rebuild her foundation by extending opportunity to those who have been underserved and by renewing our commitment to each other once again with unshakable assurance.
Thanks to my amazing wife, Amy, who has been by my side for every election, and to my two incredible children who both worked on the campaign with me and have made this experience all the more meaningful. Amy, Michael, and Aisley, thank you for being the best part of the Sean Shultz for Mayor of Carlisle campaign.
